Taking cover behind one of the in-tact buildings on the outskirts of the intruder's area of destruction, Kanbe carefully peaked out in order to survey the situation. Ayane had moved in, bringing herself atop the earthen golem that the enemy rode atop in order to face him directly, while Arid and Ty Lee moved to begin eliminating several of the unoccupied constructs in the area. Knowing his Ninjutsu was not as powerful as Arid's, nor was his element as effectiveness in this case as Ty Lee's, he left that job to them for now, keeping his concentration on the creator of those gigantic creatures of stone. It was difficult to see everything due to the difference in elevation, but Kanbe's sharp eyes could see enough to make out where the man and Ayane stood.
Despite how the Sand Four had moven in, the situation was all fun and games to Sunagakure's attacker. He introduced himself as "Uncle Sajin", downplaying the team's strength by promising that he owed it to Shingen not to hurt them too bad
. A low snarl made its way out from Kanbe's throat, irritated by the cockiness that he perceived. Having been beaten down enough times over the past few years, being treated as so little of a threat was something that he didn't take too well. Forming a single hand seal in one hand as his other reached over his shoulder to fetch an arrow from his quiver, he imbued the projectile with a subtle, thin coating of wind chakra, barely visible to the naked eye. Pulling back on the string, the butt of his arrow carefully gripped between his fingertips, the archer felt tension in his bow. Patiently, the man lined up his shot, the moment reminding him of the calm before the storm. In that moment, with nothing but his shot to focus on, things felt so much more familiar and less hectic. The Hokori knew that feeling would not last long, pressed into the chaos of battle, but until then, all that he had to focus on was lining up this one projectile.
Positioned in such a way that Ayane stood directly between Kanbe and line-of-sight on his target, the Jounin let his arrow fly. Soaring in behind his teammate, he hoped to catch Sajin off-guard in its approach by removing it from vision altogether. The arrow quietly cut through the air, closing the distance rapidly. It wasn't until it had drawn close to Ayane that the enhancement placed on the arrow activated. Suddenly, the arrow swerved, curving around Ayane's waist (careful eyes watched Ayane's movement, guiding the arrow with proper spacing to ensure it didn't penetrate her as a result of any sudden movement she made). By the time it would come into view, the speed it moved would have it already be upon the hefty man. The shot's new target-- the man's abdomen. While not aimed to precisely target anything in particular, the area itself contained a number of important vitals that one wouldn't want to see too damaged.
