The sound of screaming caught Daizo's attention.
The monk looked up from his ramen bowl, observing his surroundings, specifically the gate, where all the commotion seemed to originate. As people began to scream, the giant gates began to close, which was already a red flag to the jounin monk. Quickly standing from his seat, he ran out of the restaurant, towards the crowd of panicked civilians and ninja alike. As quick as his feet would take him, Daizo almost seemed to fly to the gate, reaching it just as it finished closing, watching as the Kage and another form flew outwards just as it sealed shut.
"We're under attack?"
He muttered to himself, gazing quickly at the gate and then to the crowd. The gate would hold for awhile, depending on their firepower, but it wasn't necessarily strong and definitely seemed to be their target. "First thing's first, these people need to get out of here..."
he thought to himself, quickly scanning the environment. More shinobi arrived on the scene, just as confused as Daizo was a few seconds ago.
"You there. And you."
Daizo would say, pointing to two of them. "Spread word to the rest of the village. Get them into the shelters in the mountains."
His gaze would then move to a group of chuunin that arrived. "You four, begin evacuating these people out of here. Tell everyone our goal is to get the people safe first. The Raikage and another are out there holding them off, so let's not waste it. Move!"
He would command. The chuunin would heed his words, beginning to order people to follow them, picking up smaller children into their arms and beginning to run away from the gates, spreading the message to other shinobi as they approached.
Exhaling sharply, Daizo needed to figure out what was going on on the other side of the gate. He couldn't create shadow clones, but he did have one thing he could do. Focusing inward, on his spirit, he performed the sun salutation stance, separating his physical form and spirit. His spirit would form on the other side of the gate, quickly observing everything. He saw the Raikage's and the ANBU begin their assault on these attackers. Roughly 300 meters away, a giant suit of armor that seemed to be the source of the main attacks. Daizo would begin sprinting towards the mech, unsure if it could see him or not, but his goal was to meet it and see what information he could gather from it. The more he could learn about these people, the better he could plan his next attack.
