The girl charged once more, and for a moment Ran considered to stop her right there and then in her tracks. "A photographic memory huh? Cool, I got that too!" She observed the pair running for her, probably about to do a very standard 'deceive' tactic. One was going to distract her, the other was going to attack her. She knew because she'd have done it too. Eyes glanced towards the sky, "It's getting late." before glancing back down at the fight at hand. It was then that the clone crouched, probably attempting to destroy the ground with some earth jutsu or to. *SLAM* "Ah yeah, of course." Dust and debris covered their attack, but not only theirs, that of Ran's too. She moved. Faster and preemptively. A hand emerged from the cloud as Ran dashed in, moving her body to lean towards the right as it barely missed her.
She grabbed it once more in a blur as the girl emerged from the cloud before once again using her momentum against her to slam her down into the ground. Before the clone could react, she'd pounce at it - her movement never stopping. Right now free hand, cocked into a fist before punching through its face. Sending it hopefully back where it came from. To clone land.
Ran stood up, cleaning off the dirt she had gathered on her hands. "Well, you pass. Prepare for tomorrow, you'll meet your teammates then. Or...well, teammate." she glanced towards the Aburame, not having witnessed too much of the girl but already having calculated roughly what she could and couldn't do. She was strong, very strong, Ran knew, that this girl could make a difference already in a battlefield. "You should practice your taijutsu, you're good at it now, but you can get even better at it. I'm sure of it." she gave the girl a last grin and reassuring thumbs-up before disappearing into thin smoke.
"Don't be late!" a lingering message as the smoke dissipated into the air.
