Contract Description:
This particular breed of Salamander is born in the forests surrounding the borders just outside Kaze no Kuni. Giant Black Salamanders grown in the forest climate feasting on insects, frogs, and fish. The adults are big Salamanders capable of being well above human size, as a human can easily stand on their head without an issue. They have long, slender, and slimy bodies as they are an amphibian animal with tiny spots all over. They have very poor eyesight, only possessing two eyes on the far ends of their head (which don't give much visual input). These black Salamanders mostly function by sending out a pulse - therefore sensing the vibrations of the Earth around them utilizing special sensory cells inside of their bodies. This allows them to locate foes who are invisible or obscured somehow, and get a good layout of their surroundings.

The fully grown Salamanders are well known for hosting a poison sac inside of their bodies that allows them to exhale a large stream of poisonous gas from their bodies that can completely paralyze vulnerable opponents (see Individual Summon Registrations for more info).

These Giant Black Salamanders are also born with the affinity for Earth Release- as they typically navigate underground and rise up from below to swallow their prey, dragging them down as they do so. They can also harden their bodies with Earth Release to increase their destructive force and manipulate the surrounding earth around them.

They are a most deadly Summoning contract.
Minor Summons:

Mitsuya is a small salamander still growing and learning. Rensu doesn't use him for direct combat purposes usually but more to scope out and locate targets on the battlefield. Mitsuya is well oriented for traveling and tracking with his natural ability to sense the vibrations of their natural environment. This does not make Mitsuya useful for combat however as he has some noteworthy abilities. Mitsuya is a rather serious Salamander who takes Rensu's orders very thoroughly, though he may sometimes mouth off to criticize Rensu and his decisions.

Summon Jutsu: Sensory Cells (C rank ability; No Chakra Cost)- Using the sensory cells in their body, they once per post can scan the vibrations of the environment for 100m to detect enemy presences. (Costs 100 CP)

Earth Release: Subterranean Voyage (C rank) - A technique that transforms the earth surrounding the user into a fluid, allowing them to close in on the enemy with high speed by swimming underground. Since being under the ground is a blind spot, the target has no warning; allowing the user to launch a surprise attack. (Costs 100 CP)

Shadow Clone Jutsu (B rank) - this technique creates copies of the user, however, these clones are corporeal instead of illusions. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power. The clones are capable of performing techniques on their own and can even bleed, but will usually disperse after hit by a strong enough force. The clones can also disperse on their own or be dispelled by the user of the technique. (Costs 200 CP).

Earth Flow River (C rank): The user transforms the surface underneath their opponent into a river that sweeps them off their feet and carries them down stream. (Costs 100 CP)

Genjutsu Kai (C rank): Mitsuya can cancel Genjutsu by paying chakra on command by their Summoner. This allows him to help his summoner out when trapped in a Genjutsu, or to free himself from genjutsu. (Costs 100 CP)

Should have some kind of Constitution interactions. I wouldn't think this would effect Poor and Godlike Con similarly.

Should have some kind of Constitution interactions. I wouldn't think this would effect Poor and Godlike Con similarly.

So for the poison detailed in the Contract, is there a time it takes for the poison to take place? It just says how long they have for an antidote. Also, the reductions are insane, -4 tiers at Epic constitution? That's like, double S-Rank worth of reductions. Is this the generic poison for all of the Salamanders?

Ibuse is capable of concealing itself and navigating underground. It can then resurface beneath Hanzō's enemies and swallow them, trapping them in its mouth until they have succumbed to the fatal effects of the poison.[6]
This is the abilities of the Canon Salamander contract. In canon this poison was uncounterable once it hit. I did not think that was kosher - hence my scaling. If you inhaled it you were paralyzed. You could get an antidote, but the most anyone who inhaled it could do is stumble to their feet. It has no other effects and can only be used once every five posts... which limits its usage to once or twice. If you dodge the poison you likely won't have to worry about it until the summon is already dispelled- or you get ample time to kill the Summon, the Summoner, or to flee the battlefield.

Are its effects potent? Yes. They're supposed to be. Otherwise they have no value at all.

Are they OP? No. They have counters. Earth Release lets you go underground and avoid the poison. Wind Release can potentially blow the poison gas away. You can run from the gas's range (it's listed as short-mid range in the wikia so we can give it a 20m range). You can possess some kind of item that lets you filter out the gas like the Samurai in canon. Kaito used to possess such an item.

Journeyman – Poisons of a journeyman level are costly, take more time to synthesize, but will kill their opponent far more quickly. Assume around a five-six turn kill time for a standard poison (ie something applied to a blade). At this level, poisons can begin to gain effects leading up to the “poison payload”, ie on turn 1 this happens, on turn two this happens, etc. Adding these abilities in may increase kill time on a case by case basis.
Ibuse's poison is supposed to be a Master-Level poison, but I scaled it it fit a more Journeyman level poison.

Anyways I gave all the effects a timer. The Epic Constitution/Legendary Constitution effects are debuff over time now for every other post meaning it takes a total of six posts to fully apply (which is extra time to kill the summon, the summoner, or flee the battlefield). Keep in mind I'm doing these things despite feeling I shouldn't have too as the amount of counters that exist to this thing are astounding. If I hit you with a B rank Lightning Gian I can pierce your skull and kill you. :/ If I hit you with a B rank Fire Dragon Bullet I can literally burn you to ash. If I hit you with a B rank water dragon I can crush your bones with substantial force.

I see no reason why the effects of this should be any less potent.

Nail is a small salamander still growing and learning. Rensu doesn't use him for direct combat purposes usually but more for specific strategies for Nail to implement on the field. Nail is a trickster and is well oriented for traveling and tracking with his natural ability to sense the vibrations of their natural environment. He has more combat-oriented abilities however which makes him an asset. Nail is a rather silly Salamander who takes Rensu's orders with a grain of salt. He sometimes needs a clobber in the head in order to follow his orders.

Earth Release: Bedrock Coffin (B rank) This technique allows the user to control multiple sections of rock and move them around their opponent. The user then forms two gigantic sections that crush the opponent. (Costs 200)

Earth Release: Rock Pillar Prison (C rank): A technique that makes use of the rock terrain by creating multiple rock pillars that emerge from beneath the target and trap them. (costs 100 CP)

Earth Release: Earth Flow Wave (B Rank): The user creates and rides a wave of earth that can branch off to attack from a distance. The user can also use it to skilfully manipulate the terrain around them and their opponent. (Costs 200 CP)

Earth Release: Ground Bedrock (C rank): The user creates two walls of earth which trap the opponents in between them. (Costs 100 CP)

Genjutsu Kai (C rank): Nail can cancel Genjutsu by paying chakra on command by their Summoner. This allows him to help his summoner out when trapped in a Genjutsu, or to free himself from genjutsu. (Costs 100 CP)

Namaken is a small salamander still growing and learning. Rensu uses him for direct combat purposes usually but more for specific strategies for Nail to implement on the field. Namaken is a sufficient combat summon and is well oriented for traveling and tracking with his natural ability to sense the vibrations of their natural environment. He is sturdier than most of his brethren. Nail is a rather silly Salamander who takes Rensu's orders with a grain of salt. He sometimes needs a clobber in the head in order to follow his orders.

At first glance it seems like a regular Clone Technique, but the haze clone uses a cunning trap to lure out the enemy. Using this technique together with the Earth Release: Underground Projection Fish Technique, the enemy is led to believe that the real body is among the clones. As the haze clones are not physically real, the attack will just pass through them. While attention is drawn to the clones, the real body attacks from the blind spot. During the illusion and resulting chaos, the enemy, who is caught up in the technique, can be easily defeated.
