Yuko has chin-length straight blond hair that he often allows to hang in his face, and possesses light-blue eyes. His eyes are often unfocused, and he usually wears a soft smile. Yuko is very slim, and his healthy lifestyle keeps him lean and his muscles well-defined. He often has a small slouch, making him seem a bit shorter than he is. He wears a hairclip to tame a particularly wild lock of hair. His headband is worn around his neck. While on shinobi business, Yuko wears his father's heirloom dark blue shinobi battle armor, refitted and repaired, over a tight dry fit black long sleeve shirt, and black pants. He wears steel-tipped boots and his full-fingered black gloves have strips of metal on the back of the hand. His casual clothes consist of black shorts and a blue and white striped t-shirt. Yuko's chakra is a softly flowing pale blue
Yuko is not particularly outgoing, but generally nice. He can sometimes come off as insincere, as he’s still not sure he fits in with other shinobi. He values hard work, and is more than willing to work with others to complete tasks. Due to his lack of attention in many circumstances, Yuko finds himself prone to whistling. He isn’t one to hold grudges, and he’s slow to anger and to judge. Despite his usually lackadaisical nature, Yuko is often nervous and very serious during combat.

The Yamamura name in Kirigakure is tied to anger and outbursts of violence. Yuko’s father, and his father’s father, were brutish shinobi, often involved in arguments and fights with their fellow ninja. Yuko’s father cared for him, but he was rough and pushed Yuko away from ordinary life and into the life of a shinobi. After his violent death on a high-ranking mission, his ancestral shinobi battle armor was passed on to Yuko. Yuko’s mother was a driven, yet distant woman, and didn’t often spend time with Yuko. Despite this, Yuko was a kind and soft-spoken child. This made him an unlikely candidate for a shinobi. Still, his mother expected him to follow in their footsteps, and he was willing to oblige. Enrolling in the academy, Yuko quickly realized he didn’t quite fit in. He did well enough, just below middle of the class, but he didn’t have the drive that the other students exhibited. This inspired Yuko to begin to explore his Nindo, and find his own strength. While studying at the academy, he found out and read about Ijutsu. Seeing this as a method to use his shinobi training to directly help those around him, Yuko decided that he would train himself in this technique. Now that he is a Genin, Yuko is searching for his purpose as a shinobi.

Taijutsu Specialists can understand, learn, and use martial arts techniques. They are trained in the locations of a body's weak points, as well as how best to strike them. They select a specific taijutsu style as their "signature style". Taijutsu Specialists receive a pool of 60 Stamina Points that may only be spent on their signature style and its subtechniques. Taijutsu Specialists track movement at a tier higher than they would otherwise be able to track, and they receive six advantages to any of their Attributes when performing taijutsu; the distribution of the granted advantages must be selected at the time the Specialist rank in the Taijutsu Skill is acquired, and cannot be allocated in increments greater than a single tier to any one Attribute. Taijutsu Specialists can create up to S-Rank techniques for taijutsu.

Ijutsu Experts can understand, learn, and use ijutsu techniques, and have practical anatomical and diagnostic training. They have extensive knowledge of anatomy, can perform surgery (notably, including organ transplants). Ijutsu Experts are automatically trained in the Mystical Palm Technique and receive a field medicine kit, whose contents they can replenish upon entering a village (unless that village is hostile to the character). They are familiar enough with common poisons (though primarily in the context of how to counter them) that they are able to craft Journeyman-level antidotes. Ijutsu Experts receive a pool of 60 Stamina Points that may only be spent on ijutsu techniques, and they receive a Major Advantage to their Coordination when attacking an opponent's vital organs. Ijutsu Adepts can create up to S-Rank customs for ijutsu.
Ninjutsu Experts can understand, learn, and use ninjutsu. They use half as many hand seals as would otherwise be required for all techniques (which may reduce the number of required hand seals to zero). Ninjutsu of a chosen element are treated as a rank more powerful (up to a maximum of S-Rank; if an Attribute-boosting technique has its power increased in this manner, its returns also diminish at a Minor Advantage less per tier). Ninjutsu Experts receive a Major Advantage to their Coordination for the purposes of aiming, and can perform hand seals as if the Attribute used were a Major Advantage higher for all techniques. Ninjutsu Experts may select a technique that they know, and permanently reduce the number of hand seals required to use it to one (this reduction does not stack with any other reduction). Ninjutsu Experts receive a pool of 60 Stamina Points that may only be spent on ninjutsu. They can create up to S-Rank customs for ninjutsu.
Signature Release: Suiton
Sensory Experts understand chakra signatures, and can learn and use sensory techniques. They are automatically trained in the Sensing Technique. Using this technique, a Sensory Expert is capable of sensing all chakra signatures at once on the battlefield, within a 350-meter range. They are capable of sensing the intent, amount (as represented by Stamina), nature transformation, and intent of chakra. While using the Sensing Technique, a Sensory Expert is capable of detecting if an individual is caught in a genjutsu by focusing on the flow of their chakra (though they are incapable of detecting this of themselves). Sensory Experts are capable of passively sensing beings with enormous chakra; they are alerted if anyone with Epic or higher Stamina enters their sensory range (even if the Sensing Technique is not active). While the Sensing Technique is active, they gain a Major Advantage to their Reflex and Coordination for the purposes of evasion. Sensory Experts can create up to S-Rank customs for sensory.
