To the South of the Land of Tea, before one reaches the Land of Sea, a small tropical island sits uninhabited by man. Unpredictable storms and aggressive tides prevent even the most tenacious human from making their home here; for if they did it would surely be consumed by the unforgiving sea in short order. This land is only fifteen square kilometers total when the tide is at its lowest but the macromareal high tide decreases this shallow land to a meager eleven kilometers. Surrounded by dense atoll it is difficult for a ship of any size to reach the coast, and smaller boats risk being dashed to pieces on the rocks closer to the land so only the particularly brave or foolhardy sail to the land itself. It is close enough to some of the larger islands of Land of Sea that swimming from there is possible – if one is willing to risk the dangers of the ocean.

The beach of this island is rocky, the buoyant lava rocks jagged and unpleasant to tread upon at the best of times – dangerous and sharp as a blade at the worst. Tidal pools make up pockets of life on this seemingly otherwise barren beach, some deep enough to even dive into and perhaps a few that even connect out into the ocean itself. Scrubby brush and broad leafed plants make up the majority of the land, a place for the usual inhabitants of this place to hunt and be hunted. A dense copse of trees makes up the center-most area of the island, taking up a majority of the space of the butte that juts up and holds a small cave filled with jagged metallic and crystalline rocks. Heat emanates from this cave, along with a soft glow; the lava within building pressure for its next small surge toward the sea. Dense creeper vines seek to climb their way ever closer to the sun, sometimes strangling the life out of the very tree they are climbing. These vines, while not particularly dangerous themselves, are the favored hunting ground of the snakes that live here. The most dangerous creatures on this land, no doubt, are these exceedingly vicious serpents, large enough to swallow a man, that hunt their prey with both camouflage and venom – though even they fall prey to the even bigger cats that live here and seem to be immune to their bite.

At the top of the rocky hill in the center of the island a young woman waits behind a powerful barrier of shifting colors and opacity. The soft sound of jingling metals fills the air when she moves and at her feet rests a beautiful silver bell, thrumming with an unseen force and filling the air of the island with power strong enough to feel like static on skin. Eyes closed, a perfect porcelain statue with hair the color of a raven's wing and petal pink lips, she waits. The call had been sent. The one who would hold her bell was on their way to battle for glory and for their right to claim her as their own. Gently she redirects the young serpent that had curled against her leg seeking warmth as it digested the mouse it had caught back into its nest. Soon this would be no fit place for it to rest, combat loomed on the horizon and hung heavy in the air along with her own collected power that clung to the skin like static. Soft green eyes opened and observed the horizon, watching the setting sun gather clouds like a burial shroud as it began to dip below the horizon. When Fire, Water, Smoke and Sand had all arrived the barrier would drop and the battle would begin in earnest. By the dawn she would be claimed.

The shark-man was fast approaching the area, as he came within four meters of the island, he stepped onto the edge of the boat, hopping down onto a rock and standing there, looking around as he could see in near distance he can see a rocky hill in the center of the island. The young woman appeared to be behind some form of barrier. Naitome licked his lips as around is a very dense area of trees, as well various different areas of interest make this beach an interesting battleground for the woman known as Kana. She had pale porcelain skin aroused the shark man. He knows she would see him. He smirked as he hopped onto a few more rocks onto the land mass that is a beach. His black cloak swayed freely as a breeze blew through the area off the sea, it was warmer here than what Naitome has experienced but his years of staying in the Land Of Snow and whatnot his body has become easily adjusted to extreme temperatures.

The 7'0 sharkman smiled as he noticed he was the first human here. How interesting, he gains an advantage of the terrain and the area. Well, time to make good use of that. The tied sash around his head swayed with the picking up of the wind. He removed his lose jacket and ripped a hole in it and laid it across a rock near where he was standing. He would use this to throw off someone into thinking someone got eaten nearby. Naitome smiled with glee, as he activated chakra sensing. The sharkman noticed that the land had pockets of water all around them, making Naitome having an ability to move around with slight ease. Naitome stood over a body of water, slipping into the water becoming undetectable or even seen.

The water lapped gently at the edges of the rocky beach, the rough, sharp stones uncaring for the matter of sea trying to wear them smooth. The various large, jutting rocks around the island that protected it from shipborne assault stood their ground fiercely against any intruder, but they could not account for any that slipped by without need of ship. So it was that the Fox, on the side of the island opposite of where the other active inhabitant had landed, peeked up from under the water, her red and black eyes shining from underneath the smoky grey mask, blue accents rolling up from the eyes and along the top near the ears. The nose protruded slightly, obscuring the face and keeping its wearer’s identity anonymous. The slick hair of the Fox was pulled into a high twist that kept it out of the way and fanned out to the left behind her head, but it hung with the weight of the salt water. Dark grey covered her form, with the standard steel chestplate of the ANBU strapped to her. Black pants and dark shoes completed the look for the slim Fox, and she dripped as she emerged from the water.

Soft steps disturbed the rocks only slightly, but she was in fact the only person around. The soft noise was masked by the movement of the water, and only the keenest of observers would distinguish the sound of her passing. She moved with purpose and direction, first scouting the beach before moving inward, toward the light that shone through the canopy of forest in the night. She moved without haste but with purpose, crouching slightly to keep what cover the hill and the trees that she’d stepped into provided. The long vines reaching down threatened to obscure even the Fox’s blessed sight, but she moved carefully and quickly through, until a cold sound threatened her existence.

“Dinner…” came the sibilant voice, apparently unaware that such an utterance would mean the difference between success and failure. The Fox had only moments to react before a serpent longer than twice her height and thicker than her waist shifted quickly down from the top of the tree above her, through the vines, and attempted to wrap its coils around her. She was too quick for the reptilian assailant, however, dancing away to the side and answering in her own voice.

“Not today,” the Fox replied, causing the snake to pause in its pursuit. It peered curiously at the strange thing before it, cocking its head and taking in the sight. It was among the most successful of the serpents on the island, often taking the largest meals from what washed up and strangling the great cats of the place until they were no more. It knew this type – humans, they called themselves in their strange, clumsy speak – and had never before heard them say a single thing worth listening to or trying to understand. This one, however, spoke nobly. It spoke in his language. While it had refrained from attacking the other newcomer due to its incredible size, this one was simply interesting.

“What manner of creature are you?” it hissed quietly, tasting the air and swaying from side to side. “…and how did you learn to speak?”

“I am a Fox, and I’ve always been able to speak to your kind,” the Fox replied in equal quietude, meeting the hypnotic eyes of the serpent with her own. The serpent had never heard that word. It was a little insulting that this thing, this…Fox had a greater command over its own tongue. “But I’ve no time for this. I’m looking for someone.”

“Ah, the giant one?” the snake asked, and the Fox cocked an eyebrow under her mask. “He did come this way, but retreated back to the rocks. I did not follow. Too large for dinner.”

“Which direction?” the Fox asked, happy for the free information. No, she’d not been looking for any ‘giant one’ but certainly would welcome knowing of them. The snake turned its head to the South.

“There, but I cannot say where they are now. Ohh, why did dinner have to be a Fox?” it lamented while beginning to slide its way back up the tree trunk. Under her mask, the Fox made a slight smile, and began to move away from the area, damp underbrush softening her footfalls.

“There will be other prey – worry not, Noble One,” the Fox replied, using the word that snakes used for themselves. With that, the two parted ways, and the scintillating barrier became the Fox’s target once more, keeping tabs on the direction that the apparent ‘giant one’ had gone off to. As the light became brighter through the trees, she moved up the rocky hill, stepping lightly to the sparse grass just ahead of the barrier. A cursory examination led to the Fox realizing that she could not simply unravel the seal – it was of a type that needed a specific trigger to open, and while given time she might eventually uncover its secrets, the ANBU knew that in fact she did not have that luxury. There was at least one other person here, waiting for others to arrive. She had purposely gone to the harder to reach side of the island, and it seemed that paid off in her ability to remain undetected in her movement. The Sharingan peered at the inhabitant of the barrier, keen ears listening to the jingling as the pale girl moved. This was where she’d hold, kneeling slightly and keeping the barrier at her back, facing in toward the South.

Enishi rubbed his back wincing slightly, both his ass and his back were sore from the long, choppy boat ride, and the little 16 foot dingy was all he could manage to steal. This thing was not meant for the open ocean He thought to himself flashing back to the massive waves that had almost pulled him to the bottom on his way to the desolate island. He shivered from the memory, glancing up at the now open sky for any sign of clouds.

He glanced at the small motor, it looked older than he was but somehow had pulled him all the way out here. He couldn’t complain. The boys solemn expression lit up “Finally!” Enishi about shouted to himself as his keen eyes spotted a small spec on the horizon. He had made it and somehow he had not drowned on the way.

As he approached the island keeping a good distance, a new challenge presented itself, there was no where to beach his only way home. Only jagged and unforgiving lava rock presented itself, and the surf was no joke smashing unforgivingly on the reef. It would sink his boat in an instant if he tried, and if he wasn’t a shinobi it would likely kill him as-well. Ill just have to hope this is here when I get back he thought killing the motor for the first time. He would have to park rather far off the coast, and luckily he had an anchor. Tossing the anchor over the side the rope slipped through his hands as it raced to find the bottom of the ocean. Suddenly slack, he was lucky he had enough rope to reach the bottom. Tying it off quickly and checking its soundness, it seemed sturdy enough.

Gathering his Bow and his arrows, the time had come and his mission was clear. It was likely he wouldn’t be the only one here. He had to hurry the water was not a place he wanted to fight, and it would not be easy to sneak onto the island unnoticed. Checking his gear once more he darted for the island his keen eyes racing to survey the land for any clues of inhabitants.

200 meters out he spotted another boat much closer in, clearly someone with knowledge of the ocean had navigated it for it was much closer than Enishi imagined he could have gotten his. He surveyed the land still racing for the shore, whats that he thought to himself his eyes landing on a torn jacket. Despite the tear it was in fairly good condition, it had happened recently whatever ‘it’ was Enishi didn’t want to find out. His mission was not to investigate the death of the owner of that jacket, that much was clear. Clearly, this is a dangerous place he thought to himself coming to a halt just outside the break of the waves. Activating his sensory abilities a few things became clear. There were two shinobi here, neither seemed to be moving . Enishi wasted no time in creating a gap between the one that appeared to be hiding in a tide pool making a dart for the beach and then the jungle, disappearing into the thick foliage before him keeping tabs on both of the chakra signatures he would hide and wait for now, focusing on sensing, he would not be snuck up on if he had his way. Drawing two arrows he began flooding them with chakra, he would be ready to kill if he had too.

A large cloud spread its way across the sky above, heralding the arrival of Sunba Satoru. Each of his footfalls across the open sky created a blossoming nimbus cloud, breathing it to life amidst the endless blue sky. His movements were swift, causing lines of clouds to be born from nothing. He would be practically invisible at such high altitudes, coupled with his speed and the distortion caused by each cloud. From above, he could see the massive barrier, inside which was likely the target of his mission. His eyes scanned the rest of the battlefield, looking for how or where his adversaries had arrived, whereas Satoru had chosen to arrive by sky. A bird's eye view of the battlefield would definitely be to his advantage. The clouds created by his footsteps through the air weren't likely to go unnoticed, though he wasn't sure of any of their abilities to either see Satoru or understand what exactly was creating the clouds.

I came from the west, though it doesn't seem like battle has been joined. I see no signs of battle, The Sunba thought to himself. From his altitude, nearly 500 meters in the air, he didn't expect to be able to simply see any opponents, but he did fancy himself capable of seeing battle from this height. Unlike people, most jutsu, such as the barrier, didn't tend to be as small as ants from this height, even if the barrier wasn't that large. Its colors stood out.

As his dash ran its course, Satoru allowed himself to begin plummeting downwards. He was roughly ontop of the barrier now. If it were to disperse, he would be in prime position to land beside the mysterious girl, with more than enough time to preform the Kaitei no Hi'un again to break his fall. If it didn't disperse, he could simply preform the Kaitei no Hi'un before he landed ontop of the barrier, so as to avoid doing so. He couldn't be sure that touching the barrier wouldn't have any adverse side effects. He withheld attacks of any kind; being unable to see his opponents, he didn't want to waste his chakra on a large-scale jutsu, especially when there might or might not be enemies there at all.

Sunba Satoru descends.

((Kana, as she is not partaking in battle, will respond when needed only. Please do not delay on account of Kana being in a post order.))

The last person was nearing; her wait had been long and boring but not unpleasant at least. Shifting to her feet she cast a look out at the figure facing toward the South, a possible future playing out. This was a divergent point, and even she was not sure who would definitely win - though she did know what was most likely to happen. Delicate fingers that had never known hard labor grasped the handle of the silver bell as she stood, perfect almond nails tapping lightly against the metal as her chains jingled together. Lifting her hand above her head, the metal handle of the bell barely brushed the top of the shifting barrier. A ripple shifted down the sphere, much like the waves lapping at the not so distant shores. A small shift of her hand and the silver bell was ringing, a small sound that carried through the air all the way to the shores and left in it's wake the physical sensation of the largest carillon resounding into the night.

The barrier burst like a bubble, the point of rupture at the apex and dissolving away in less than a single second leaving Kana standing placidly with the bell raised in the air. Gently she brought her hand back down, holding the object of her possession level with her heart.

Naitome licked his lips as he waited patiently within the tidal pool, the interesting thing about this tidal pool and him being of the Hoshigaki is the ability to breathe underwater due to the gills on the side of his face. The idea here was that he when under the water pool that was hugging the edge of the island, not the ocean itself seeing as the jutsu allowed him to move to a water source. He had dropped his chakra signature and sensing as he felt where the target had went. He traveled south away from the original spot, about four meters as he eased out of the water, being unable to be detected by sensors due to him no longer using any sort of chakra. He had long since noticed the prey before he even left his boat. This would likely be his undoing. He would have appeared to only went into the dense foliage by two meters, hardly far from Naitome, who came into the area silently and quietly, from the west of Enishi. He was careful and quiet, as he strolled toward Enishi using trees as cover and coming from the south of Enishi as he had his back. Naitome was not able to be detected, nor sensed due to chakra suppression. And, he carefully walked due to his training in taijutsu he was quite adept at using his muscles and body control to not make a sound.

The foliage around them was dark as well, the feet of Naitome moving with complete silence, not one ounce of noise could be heard. There was no branches or leaves to make a noise of his stalking approach. The area was a prime location for prey stalking their meal. How fitting. Naitome was excited. He could taste the blood, a nice meal was pending. He would devour some of this man's flesh as well before leaving the area. The thought excited Naitome, but still, with his experience and his skill level this didn't distract Naitome but more of gave him drive to succeed in his kill.

The poor soul, charging chakra into his arrows gave him away to Samehada. Naitome grabbed the hilt of Samehada, this victim was his for the taking. As he approached behind the body of Enishi, he was six feet away now, not a sound has been made due to careful placement of his approach and the method of his walking. Both of the man's arms were occupied on holding the bow and arrow which left him no chance for a defense from a blindsided blow as well as the sharkman being undetectable due to not using chakra sensing. Naitome swung the shark sword with extreme force due to his strength from behind Enishi to attempt to take his head clean off his body, if connecting it would send the head flying into a nearby tree with a nasty dud, they do call Naitome the Monster Of The Mist for a reason. The man's village of origin mattered little to Naitome in this area.

The woman behind the Fox had not moved for quite some time, so when she stirred, the ANBU looked back over her right shoulder, gazing from behind her mask as the movement brought a jingling of bells. The Fox watched, silent, as Kana raised the bell over her head, and in the peripheral of her vision she caught a glimpse of the sky. A line had appeared where there had previously been none in the otherwise cloudless sky, drawing a dark bead across the stars. The Fox stood suddenly, just as the barrier burst, a streak passing down in her vision. Breath suddenly held, realizing that this streak was in fact a person about to set down next to her target, she had only moments to react. Time seemed to slow as in fact the resonance of the bell, though its sound and size were small, reverberated throughout the island.

While the enemy was certainly moving more quickly than the Fox would be, she had a shorter space in which to go. Rei stepped in her fighting stance just outside the space where the man would land, looking up and into his eyes for the first time. It was natural to look down at where one was going, and thus, she felt confident in her ability to manifest the infernal reality her eyes could bring to bear on the unsuspecting. Should their eyes meet, and in the moment that they met, that hypnotizing red and black gaze would force an excruciating pain in the form of what appeared to be great paralyzing stakes of indiscernable metal suddenly inserted into the man's joints. Paralysis would be instant, and falling from a height of half a kilometer would likely take care of this particular fight. Compassion rose, and the Fox quelled both it and Rei at once. Better to end this quickly, after all, the Fox reminded herself. No guilt. No shame. This is done in service. He is a combatant. This is your life.

The mantra was easy to repeat for the Fox.

The wind whipped through the jungle carrying the distinct odor of the sea, leaves from the trees rustled loudly as they tried to keep up. Beneath the canopy sat a boy so entrenched in the thickest of foliage that raising his own hand would offer no change in scenery. It didn’t matter, in-fact he had chosen the denser foliage for this purpose alone. He didn’t need eyesight in this moment, for the boy was a master sensor. He had spotted the chakra of clearly another shinobi upon his arrival even before he had entered the forest. A few points of knowledge were gained in that instant, the nature of this chakra was water, and this shinobi had taken the time to hide.

The boy sat for but a moment in his new hiding place, his senses honed in on the chakra signature in the tide pool. hmmm whats ur mo…. Enishi’s thought was cut off, the chakra signature had vanished. The boys mind raced, the possibilities calculating in a mere moment, the conclusion, he didn’t just die out of nowhere… any sensory specialist worth his salt would certainly know their own weakness…. He hid his chakra!?.. did he see me… how did he know I was sensing him? the thoughts raced, and a moment of doubt and even fear entered the boys mind. Perhaps the sudden vanish in chakra was coincidence, maybe the shinobi had another motive unrelated to Enishi. Still there was certainly the possibility that he had been spotted. “…. shit” Enishi said under his breath he would have to give up his hidden position, there were too many uncertainties.

Enishi leaped from the hidden foliage straight into the air with a slight rotation, replacing one of his now finished Chakra fusion arrows back into the quiver, in the same motion drawing another ordinary arrow and racking it on his bow and drawing it back to full tension. Loosely the other B-rank chakra fusion arrow hung from his pinky ready to be fired in rapid succession. The jump and slight rotation allowed the boy a full 360 scan in only a moment his trained eyes picking up anything out of the ordinary.

His momentum still carrying him up the apex of his leap at 9 meters, he spotted something moving from the west amongst the thick foliage, moving directly towards his previous location. He didn’t waste time to confirm, and with the greatest of ease redirected his bow and let loose the normal arrow. It whistled quietly as it found its way towards its target aimed for the center of mass. This first arrow was a distraction and directly behind it hidden in its shadow would follow the Explosive fusion arrow.

“Kai” Enishi spoke before either arrow met its target. About a 1 meters away from Naitomi. A wall of heat and energy expanded outward from the second arrow. Creating a deafening noise as the explosion consumed the distance between the two shinobi. The blast would be between the two obscuring sight and sound, if his enemy had kept his path he would surely have been consumed by the ball of fire, but Enishi had another reason for detonating the arrow early. He needed the shockwave to carry him further away, secondly he needed to break the line a sight between the two. If his opponent had sensed him earlier, which seemed the logical explanation for him finding Enishi’s location so easily. Then he would have to break his chakra suppression to find him again.

Riding the shockwave several more meters Enishi landed gracefully on a large branch and darted along the trees away from the shinobi he had hopefully incapacitated, He would take great care to gain as much distance as possible, putting as many tree trunks and foliage between him and his previous pursuer. Moving as fast as he possibly could towards the center of the island he kept his chakra sensing active, looking back often with keen eyes for any sort of pursuer. He would not be snuck up on again so easily.

(Chakra Sensing D-rank)
(Used explosive fusion B-rank for a 9 meter blast radius)
(If Naitomi is allowed to be spotted then Kyujutsu Spec activated for tracking for the remainder of this topic)

Descending downwards from the sky, the ringing of a bell echoed loudly through the Sunba's ears. As he approached the ground, he took notice of a figure standing infront of the barrier, which had burst. It seemed that this masked figure would be Satoru's opponent. Eyes narrowed, he cast a sidelong glance at his foe, his own eyes meeting the red-colored eyes of the mask woman. The Sharingan? Satoru thought, his hand gripping his fan close to his chest. She must be from Konoha or Kemuri. As he began to plan out his course of action, a sudden, sharp pain wracked the elder Sunba's body. He gritted his teeth as large spikes pierced through his body, constricting his movement. His body felt as if it were on fire, as he descended rapidly through the sky, his sense of falling seeming to vanish, replaced by a red, tormenting hellscape. Is this ninjutsu...? No, there were no seals, I only looked into her eyes.

Damnit, I was careless... I fell into her genjutsu. I can't afford any more eye-contact like that. This is bad, if I don't break this genjutsu, then I'll be the one breaking when I hit the ground...! His first instinct was to bite sharply at his tongue, his mouth flooding with the taste of copper, though the pain didn't seem to spare him from the genjutsu's wrath. Satoru squirmed against his bonds, his body writhing but otherwise refusing to budge. He could feel anger, like a pinprick, at the back of his skull, a rage that threatened to boil over if it weren't contained.

If there was one thing that Satoru hated, it was being constrained.

To stand still is to die,

His eyes closing for a brief moment, Satoru gathered his willpower, opening his eyes and casting aside the illusion that bound him, through sheer force of will. It was his nindo to never stand still, and this genjutsu would not contain him. He was an ANBU of the Hidden Sand, and he would not go quietly into the night from the likes of some measly Uchiha eye-trick.

Casting his eyes towards the ground, Satoru found his escape to have been in the nick of time, as he was only a dozen meters above the ground now. Channeling his cloud-walking technique once again, Satoru leaped off of a cloud, stopping what would have otherwise been a deadly fall, and began his descent to the ground anew, this time only a few meters from the ground. From here, he would be able to land on his own two feet without much of a problem. He was set to land within a few feet of the girl that was previously known as "barrier-girl." Casting his glance back at the Uchiha foe, though careful to make sure that he avoided eye contact, instead focusing on her arms and legs, Satoru extended his left arm, in which he held his fan. Giving it a single wave, Satoru sent a large blast of wind, manifesting as several razor-sharping cutting blades, hurtling at the Fox.

Then, with feet as light as a feather, Satoru would land on the ground, Kana positioned between himself and the Konoha-nin.

This was where the difference lied the events that followed. The man had long left the tide pool and was no longer in the tide pool to begin with, indeed his chakra sensing did drop as he rising out of the water. The racing supposedly of the others mind was all it took. While it was granted that he couldn't read his thoughts. The boy's thoughts went from calculating possibilities, the conclusion of those possibilities. They were likely many things, more than enough to confuse him it would seem. He wouldn't know if I hid my chakra or if I could be a sensor and since he never saw me to begin with this was all in his head likely. The moment that followed seemed to be doubt and even fear to enter his mind. This brief moment was all Naitome needed to have already quickly gone into the foilage himself already. With his hulking size covering the small distance between him and Enishi was hardly an issue for someone with his speed as well as the steps being broader due to his height. These events already had unfolded previously of course.

At this time it would have seemed that Enishi had leaped into the air with a slight rotation, being that Naitome was rather close and the whipping of the wind would not have alerted him to where Naitome went masking the sound with noise of footsteps at least. He was scanning the area and had no sight of Enishi, holding Samehada, the trees above could still saw through above him, while only being four meters into the foliage, the slight rotation placed him it would have appeared that Naitome would again have his back again as Naitome had already disappeared into the woods of foliage in search of Enishi. As the 360 view of Enishi would not be physically possible unless he spun all the way around in a circle, he mentioned a slight rotation but your human eyes could only see at best 180 degrees in front of you. As he reached his so called apex of the jump, he claims he spotted something, that something was an snake slithering across the ground. The thing here is that Naitome had actually been Enishi original spot as Naitome was directly underneath it and him. The timing of this was great, normal human physics would have him propelling back toward the trees, the word "Kai" was spoke which tickled Naitomes ears. He spotted the man as the explosion went off! BOOOM!!! The deafening sound was loud but the flash of light may have blinded Enishi, but the sound of masked, as well as Naitome, scaling the tree upward was masked by the sound of the explosion toward, using the force from his speed Naitome leapt up off the tree aside from them fast approaching toward Enishi, the distance of nine meters was closed quite quickly due to his speed as the backdraft pushed him based on physics back into Naitome's range of two meters.

With Enishi's back being very much to the back of Naitome, using the force of his own strength as well as his well-trained abilities into Taijutsu, Naitome sent his fist bellowing into the spine of Enishi with a nasty punch using the whole momentum thrown into from his body, if connecting it would break Enishi's spinal cord in his back.

The Fox tensed still, high on the balls of her feet as she watched the descending opponent, vigilant unto confirmation of elimination. This was a confirmation that would not come, however, as the man, through an incredible show of will, broke himself of her Genjutsu. It wasn't something that she could do repeatedly, so the tradeoff may have been in his favor. Even still, the redirection moved him away from her and when he landed would place Kana between them. Eyes caught his subtle movement, a fan appearing in his hand following several handsigns. Her profile turned to him, one hand hidden at her side, she made a pair of handsigns at the same time. The motion by the male afterward was a simple wave, and most wouldn't catch the small vibration in the air that was his chakra turning wind to a cutting tool, but the Fox's visual prowess could not be underestimated. She moved, blurring past Kana and catching a slight whiff of the girl's pleasant scent as the Fox whirled into a spinning kick. The dodge and the attack were of similar motion, set to catch the man in his stomach before his feet touched the ground.

He can change direction midair and is disturbingly resistant to Genjutsu. I've also already played my hand – he won't look in my eyes again. Still, I can take advantage of this, there's no way he's trained to only fight my feet, the Fox thought to herself, in that peculiar way that a thought can take an instant. Rock and dirt flew into the air behind her as the wind blades slammed into the other side of Kana, destroying that part of the bluff. The Fox was silent, completing her kick and standing now between Satoru and Kana.

The force of the explosion propelled Enishi back out of the small crop of trees he had hidden in, his body flying with great force from the explosion. Although ears ringing profusely he was relatively unscathed from his own attack. He flew out of the trees arms crossed protecting his vital organs from the blunt of the shockwave, turning into a back flip as he cleared the foliage and landing expertly on the sharp lava rock carefully avoiding the jagged point’s that looked to impale his feet. Landing gracefully he wasted no time in gaining distance from the now falling debris where his explosion had gone off, his sensory ability still very active in watching the location, as well as his trained eyes honed in completely on his enemy, no action would be taken without the notice of the young blast release user.

From his first landing on the sharp lava rock 15 meters away; Enishi had moved as quickly as possible to gain a distance of 30 meters from his target. Moving inland and taking a perch on a particularly high lava rock about 3 meters above the rest of the landscape. Being sure to distance himself from the many tide pools that dotted the landscape the nearest one being 20 meters away; the ocean even further. He had intended to run deeper into the thick forest to loose his pursuer but found much to his surprise that the foliage had given way to a now rather barren landscape of sharp lava rock. There was no where to run or hide anymore as the trees had all been consumed by the devastating explosion he had set off.

Coming to a rest on his perch, the debris’s finally clearing from the air Enishi wasted no time in analyzing the damage he had done to the man. His trained eyes becoming aware of the totality of his opponent before him, an exceptionally tall man his clothing was ripped and burnt from the explosion he had endured. Enishi looked closer able to see the blue color in the mans eyes even from 98 feet away. What! Enishi thought hardly believing what he was seeing, the man was still intact arms, legs, head everything was there is… is this guy human? …. he thought looking more closely at his adversary. Something caught the eye of the master bowman, about 15 meters off to the left lying on the top of a particularly flat lava rock sat something fleshy, the sun illuminated the small object.. Is that his pinky!?…. all I managed to damage was one finger with that!??… Wait his attention coming instantly back to the man and then more particularly his hands. He… he has all his fingers!?…. then what the hell is that Enishi’s mind raced. His answer came not a moment later, as a deep blood red appeared, covering the burnt and torn pants of the Sharkman, as if he was having a sever menstrual cycle so severe that blood loss would be an issue. Of all things to get blown off, what an unlucky man… or woman? I guess it doesn't matter this ends here Enishi thought smugly to himself. His trained eyes had ascertained the situation and the injury in hardly any time at all.

Still analyzing Enishi came to a few conclusions This guy was still intact and his weapon had a chakra signature of its own, clearly he was a close range fighter with unknown abilities, Enishi would have to try to keep his distance, play his game of far range attacks. He wouldn’t let him get close at-least not easily. Firstly this man had survived quite an explosion, but the blood spewing down his legs showed he was still human, and humans did not do well in explosions.

Drawing two arrows at a time he began his volley at the man flooding each with chakra from the quiver to the bow, loosing them as fast as his dexterity would allow. Two would be shot directly 9 meters to the right and left of the sharkman, the consecutive follow up volley of two chakra infused arrows would aim for his center of mass cutting off a direct approach from the front while the other would fly above his head reaching 9 meters above the Naitomi hoping to box the man in with explosions from all angles.

He had time for one more volley drawing two arrows, but this time only one arrow would be sent flying, straight for the fleshy appendage that sat lonesome on the particularly flat lava rock.

The other arrow in his hand would be flooded with a particularly large amount of chakra, if this man survived he would be ready.

The volley of arrows from the Kyujutsu specialist would arrive quickly and nearly all at the same time the second volley only a moment behind the first.. Reaching their targeted destinations a moment of silence would fill the air as only a small whisper would be heard from Enishi “Kai” he spoke the arrows around his adversary would detonate all at the same time, creating a devastating wall of explosions to the sides above and directly infront of the sharkman.

Still holding that one arrow, and flooding it with chakra he would watch closely both with his eyes, and his sensory ability honing in especially on the large sword that emanated chakra.

Rion, throughout the most recent chain of OOC posts, only your request for clarification had any basis in the systems or mechanics of the site as we enforce them. While I can go through them individually at some later point, should you ask me to, I will not do so here as the points of contention themselves are insubstantial to the problem that I wish to address:

slowing down the thread by repeatedly contesting things without even checking to assure that there is some basis for your contention is unacceptable as a means of play on the site. While I'm certain that you feel a large amount of disdain for Enishi, perhaps even for the staff of the site, it is not okay for you to act in bad faith in order to pursue ends to a grudge that you bear against other players. Doing so is detrimental to the experiences of anyone in any thread that you choose to delay with that behaviour, and runs contrary to the attitude that we expect of each and every player on the site.

Now, having contentions with someone's post is not in-of-itself something that is invalid. Make sure to pursue contentions that you have with members of staff, whenever you should have them. What you should not do is this: repeatedly post "lmao, fuck outta here" in response to every part of someone's post, without first making sure that the things you believe to be wrong with their post are actually wrong.

Given the high-profile nature of this thread and this mission, I can personally ensure you that just about every member of staff is keeping watch over everything that happens within it, especially after the last series of OOC posts. If there is something wrong with someone's post, staff is almost certain to take note. If you do not believe this to be the case, again: bring that which you perceive to be a problem to a member of staff that you think will present it to staff at-large, and the group will take a look at it. Do not instead choose to pursue an endless argument in the IC thread itself.

Above all, though, to everyone involved in the thread:

do not sling mud;
do not attach random ad-hominem to your arguments;
do not assume that your opponents have a mental disability for the sole cause of your disagreements with them;
everyone participating is a human person, and it just so happens that you can't see that they are because they're sitting on the other side of a computer screen. They're here to have fun, just like you. Getting incredibly heated and angry with people won't help you have fun and won't help them have fun. Obviously, everyone will at some point get frustrated with the game, but that is the nature of games. Sometimes they will be frustrating. Let other people help you solve that.

That is all. Post order will continue with Satoru when Austin returns.

I should have known, low-visibility techniques have no advantage over her. Damn those eyes... Forming a quick seal with his free hand, Satoru's eyes quickly watched the feminine faux-foxed faced figure practically disappear from site in a blur towards him. Not good...! He thought, sending a rush of chakra to his feet as he leaped backwards to avoid the powerful kick. She's fast... I can't afford to spend chakra to use Shadowless Flight every time she kicks. I'll need to take this fight somewhere where she's disadvantaged. Standing about ten meters away from Rei now, in thanks to the Shadowless Flight Technique, Satoru pondered his next move as quickly as he good. There was no way he could win an extended confrontation at this rate, if he had to use a jutsu every time she assaulted him with a flurry of blows, he would tire out much quicker than she would. The Shadowless Flight Technique was expensive, after all, even if it was only used to hurtle a dozen meters backwards.

Kicking off of his back foot and dashing into the air, Satoru began to soar a dozen meters into the sky, leaving the earth below and ascending into the sky. As he left the ground, his free hand quickly began preforming seals, readying the second element with which Satoru was proficient.

Earth Style: Dark Swamp!

With the handseals complete, the ground on which Satoru had previously stood very suddenly and rapidly began to collapse, replaced with a thick and muddy bog, threatening to swallow everything on the ground. The only safe-spot that Satoru allowed to remain in the nearly one-hundred meters of swamp below was a small circle of land, barely enough of a single person to stand on, for Kana to remain stationary upon, as she had done up until now. It was a minuscule patch of land that barely had the space for Kana's feet, let alone another person. A lone island surrounded by an ocean of bog and mud, with Satoru as the gull that soared above it all.

Let's see the Uchiha deal with this; the Fox cannot fly like I can, she should be forced to drown or to retreat now, He thought to himself, feeling confident in his plan as sweat dripped from his forehead. A smile tugged at the edge of his lips. It had been a long time since he had battled someone as fast as he was. With that being done, Satoru turned to glance at the woman ontop of the hill, channeling chakra to his feet to prepare to dash over towards her should she lose her balance and begin to fall.

Techniques Used;
Shadowless Flight Technique - A-rank, B-rank cost
Step of Cloud Flying Through the Sky - A-rank, C-rank cost
Earth Style: Dark Swamp - A-rank
Step of Cloud Flying Through the Sky - Prepared, unused

The interesting fact here to take note of it: the tide pools were six meters away from where Naitome was and jumped from which placed it outside of the blast radius of the previous explosion as well. They were not twenty meters away. The dust from the explosion and the debris flew around, it would take a little longer for the debris to clear. Of course by this time Naitome had activated chakra sensing. The injury to him was minor in his eyes as blood flew down his right leg. He was a warrior so the pain was slightly intense it wasn't enough to prevent his movements. So while he was still in the debris, he could sense where the bow and arrow user was going. Naitome was already moving backward by two meters forming hand signs near the tidepool that he previously was at six meters from him since his speed was not walking rather jumping backward keeping his body facing toward Enishi as well as his jumps low, reaching the tidal pool was easy and quick. The foolish boy. The debris cleared and sure enough, he was looking to fire arrows, two were launched nine meters to his right and left but at this point, it did not matter. Naitome had slipped into the tidepool, the same one that was linked to the ocean from before. Naitome figured out this boy fast. He could only fight from long distance. Fair enough.

The arrows would land four meters to the right of either location that the tidepool was, one would land four meters behind it since the height of its shooter would have placed it behind the tide pool in direction of physics sticking in the ground, as the fifth one would land in front of the tide pool four meters away. Naitome being a fast swimmer was already swimming away from the area, going deeper into the water of the ocean to the west of the tidepool, bout six meters away was the swim it took, bringing the distance to twelve meters from land, very much of the blast range. Sure, Enishi wasted another arrow on shooting his lost flesh. Sure, waste your chakra. The body of Naitome swam forward in the water away from the blast, which when it went off, Naitome hardly felt any tremors from it. The salt water stopped the bleeding as the cold water constricted the blood vessels to stop the bleeding. The sharkman came up again, twelve meters to the south of the beach, which would have placed him twenty-four meters from the beach itself. As he came up from the water, he would notice a cave in the distance that had a soft glow, and further up Naitome can see lava rocks and whatnot cover the area. He would rise out of the water, coming to the edge of the water, while remaining in the water. He would begin forming hand signs: Boar → Dog → Ram!

His black hair swayed to the left as the sea and ocean begin to rise underneath him, as Naitome went to the top of the raised water, using chakra of his to walk on the water to keep himself in place, the tide of water raised up to twenty meters above inland in height, as the width of the water was 30 meters in length since he is using the ocean as the medium, He now controlled its direction and force. He sent the water crashing from underneath his wave he stood on crashing into the island with force! It sent water covering all of the landmasses up to five meters deep of water which translates to 16 feet deep of water, since it is spread out it would be 7 meters deep, covering all of the lava rocks, the beach. At the height of this wave used: Naitome stood atop it. Now he would show Enishi the difference in their abilities. The force of the water would blast Enishi off his stoop from the west which you wouldn't hear the rush of water until two meters before it impacts. Naitome turned the area into a big place of water for him to use. In the midst of this happening, Naitome on the height of the water placed his hands into the water he was resting on top of, sending chakra into the water source, the water in the air forming right above the area of twenty meters above Enishi, as it would come crashing down on top of him with the force of a tidal wave looking to fix with the start of the water filling up the area from the waterfall basin techinque. Naitome was trying to flood the area, and put enishi at a disadvantage as water is Naitome's main element.

There was a certain strangeness to the air suddenly, as though her opponent had simply decided not to be in the space they had just occupied, and instead went elsewhere. She doubted that if she had not been so well trained and so well blessed with the eyes she now possessed, she would even have seen him move. She was, however, and she did, her feet touching the ground as he backed away, and running forward to press the advantage. This had proven dangerous to Rei in the past, but the Fox was already laying her trap for this foe. The Fox was what Rei was not – devoid of compassion. She was able to bring to bear her entire killing potential, and when Satoru left the ground, forming handseals with a single hand, she knew her chance. No mistakes, the Fox reminded herself, the smell of sea turning to a pungent, dark smell as rock turned to mud below.

Under her opponent, it would seem as though the Fox had suddenly fallen into a sinking miasma of muck. Despite an attempt at walking upon the swamp, it would seem as though she'd been caught up to the ankle – until, that is, two things happened simultaneously. The first was that an explosion of smoke billowed quickly from the trapped Fox, revealing a jagged, torn branch sticking out of the muck. The second, heralded by a mere moment of whistling wind, had the real Fox reaching out from above and behind her opponent. Arm came down brutally, but hand was clenched in a claw that, unhindered, would clamp against Satoru's left shoulder, strong, shapely legs aimed to wrap around his waist as her powerful right hand cocked back to deliver those iron fingers through the back of the man's skull.

Visualization was a powerful tool. If one thought they could drive through an object with their strike, they would use their entire strength and follow through. The Fox visualized this every morning with a thick wooden beam, and by the end of a week she usually was finding it splintering. The skull was much more fragile than a four by four piece of treated lumber, and she envisioned slamming through it with rigid fingers, red and grey and pink splashing outward in an explosion of dark hair and white bone. So, a Fox defeats a Seagull... ran through the ANBU's mind as she planned her next movement, a leap away from the likely dead man's body toward where Kana stood in her precariously small perch, much like a poor, flightless bird herself.

Enishi watched intensely as the 5 explosions went off simultaneously, the shockwave carried a strong gust of wind, whipping his thatch cape back revealing the blue shirt and pants he had underneath. He had missed, he had forgotten to take into account that damn tide-pool, as the man had expertly slipped into it with ease. Eyesight was lost, but his chakra signature showed clearly his path towards the ocean.

Damn this guys fast in the water Enishi thought, watching the sharkman’s chakra as he began to race through the tide pool towards the ocean. What bad luck for Enishi, he would have to act now, he originally thought this guy was close range but his race for the ocean away from Enishi said otherwise.

As the Sharkman moved through the water Enishi sprung into action, slinging his bow over his shoulder and holstering his now completed fusion arrow. He raced to close the gap between the two. Hopping as fast as his agility would take him across the jagged terrain the young Blast release user formed two hand seals at lightning speed.(Tiger → Boar) Shit at this rate he's going to reach the ocean before I can stop him! Enishi thought still trying to close the gap.

The young bowman raced towards his enemy only cutting the distance in half. Coming to a halt as he realized his efforts would be to no avail he focused on sensing he had to know what was coming, he had to be able to dodge. The shark mans chakra fluxed with a violent nature clearly some sort of water technique “WHOA” Enishi exclaimed as the large amount of chakra took action. I can’t let him complete this jutsu ill drown! the severity of the situation dawning on the young bow man. An arrow wouldn't be fast enough, it would surely be swept up by the tidal amount of water that was soon to break the surface of the ocean any moment.

Enishi clasped his hands together, forming the tiger seal. The noise was incredible as Naitomi broke the surface of the ocean riding atop a surging force of chakra and water, Enishi knew he didn’t have time to let this wall of water reach its maximum height. With that he used the body flicker technique covering the remaining distance to his target. He would appear in-front and slightly above his target, as to compensate for his rising on the wave, and with all the force he could muster he threw a punch for the face of the blue eyed man as he rose on his wave of water to eye level with Enishi, the two’s eyes would meet for but a moment seemingly frozen in time, then the punch would come. Landmine fist! Upon contact with whatever hopefully a face, a surge of chakra would detonate an explosion not much different from his arrows.

So much happened in what seemed like an instant. Kana, for her part, found herself suddenly atop a spire as the world sunk away into swamp. Moss green eyes shifted to look down, her jingling completely silent for the first time since she'd stood up. Vertigo slammed into her, causing her toes to curl into the rich, rocky soil that remained below her. The only movement she'd allow herself, feeling the earth give way easily. So strange, to know but not fully understand until it was happening, how such a thing would feel. Though many in her position would panic or grow distressed, Kana stood still and seemed to be completely unmoved. After all, she had the confidence one could only have if they knew beyond certainty what was happening. Even if she plummeted to her death after all, there was no changing what was to happen and so she saw no reason to worry.

Motion blurred around her, far more quickly than she could actually see, so she contented herself with petting the silken cords wrapped around the bell's handle. Soon.

As he rode to the height of his rising wave, the events of the stormy blockade jutsu would not be able to take place. With his chakra sensing he could feel the change in movement of Enishi, as he appeared right above the sharkman, the flash of him caught Naitome's eyes, but here is where the distance in it lied, but there was one error in his ways, hand to hand he didn't wanna do with Naitome and he would soon realize it.

As the punch floated toward his face, is when Enishi would soon realize that hand to hand combat is not something you wanna try with Naitome. Naitome was faster than your average shinobi in dexterity as grabbed the wrist of the hand that threw the punch using gravity and his height to move the attack away from his face and body as well as sliding his body to the the right side to remove himself out of the blast area which momentum and Naitome directing Enishi's body over top of him, which was easier to do since he was on the water with chakra in his feet using a skating like motion for his movement moving. This was where things got hairy for Enishi with Naitome's free hand the hand, grabbed Enishis bow and pulled it off his body while using the right hand of his dropped Enishi onto the surface of water which Naitome kept hold of him as it placed him underwater, the force of the throw onto water left a stinging sensation in his back from hitting the water.

The foregone conclusion of her hand exiting the other side of Satoru's skull was readily apparent to the Fox, even if it hadn't been to the victim of her sudden and brutal assault. Gore splattered across her steel chestpiece, her hand and arm stained red with blood halfway to the elbow, dripping brain matter and thick crimson. Legs flexed and uncurled, pressed against the back of the lifeless body, and sprung outward. The Sand-nin's body landed in the swamp, and sank slowly into the opaque, murky depths. The scarlet spray the Fox's laid out backward somersault left in her trail was a darkly glittering aura that highlighted perfect form as she touched down where Kana stood, one foot balanced between both of the other girl's. She was there but for a moment before bending at the knee, untainted arm wrapped about Kana's waist, and springing away with all her strength, a slight grunt escaping her form with the effort as she leaped high into the air in a movement designed to take her just outside the swamp's area, turning another aerial to lengthen hang time.

The nearby cave had managed to collapse into the swamp, however that meant only that the entrance to said cave now was further away, not that it had disappeared completely. The Fox, prey in hand, took another couple leaps among rocks to said cave, setting Kana down once more inside. “I'll be back,” the Fox stated, stepping back away from the mouth with the woman's bell in hand and then turning to one of the large boulders that had been just enough inside the Dark Swamp technique to be half-melted into mud, the other half of a competent enough size. Before setting herself to that task, delicate-seeming fingers plucked a small scroll from one of the side pockets of her uniform, and quickly the bell was sealed inside and then tucked away. The Fox set herself against it and exerted, shoving with all her body until it flopped over once, precariously wobbled, then fell against the cave mouth, securing it. Satisfied that it covered the exit, her clean hand pressed against the stone, a seal - 禁 - appearing on the stone in a deep black, unmistakable ink. Rapidly, she moved to each of the four corners of the swamp, choosing an area therein to place a similar tag, clearly marked but dubious to find on one's own. Her followup was a technique often used by those that chose to make this particular seal – a technique which would cause anyone attempting to remove the tags to fight a mirror image of themselves.

That, of course, is when the Fox's attention turned to the mounting wave south of her. The giant one, indeed, she thought to herself, taking a steadying breath and then exhaling. “Kaimon...”

“...Kai.”

Trees bent and swayed away from the Fox, rock, dirt, and pebbles slightly shifting from her form as energy exploded outward, revitalizing her and causing a ripple along the scant grass. A blue aura of released chakra swirled around her, raising her hair from its simple twist and actually pulling its length out as she murmured to herself, “Kyūmon, Kai.” The second of the Hachimon this time, and on the heels of the first, had loose clothing whipping in the expulsion of inner strength. Her focus now moved to the spinal cord, where she imagined turning a lock and visualized a sudden influx of red blood cells, her skin turning red from the constant rush. “Seimon, Kai,” she uttered, and now felt as though her preparation for entering the next fight was complete. And then, to mortal eyes, she was gone.

In reality, she was moving too fast for even well-trained eyes to compensate, obliterating the distance between herself and those other combatants in the time it might take them to complete their maneuvers. Whichever of them came out on top in this exchange would find themselves, assuming they did not end up actually exploding or otherwise making it too dangerous to approach, on the business end of a blurred fist.

Delicately Kana was lifted from her perch and slipped away, her dark hair mingling with the Fox's own tresses in a black, slinken banner behind them. It always amazed the girl that ninja could move so perfectly, flawless machines of death though they were. It was a beautiful art, and the girl that held her was almost remniscent of the big cats that also called this island home; all made of taught muscle, beautiful to behold and bearing certain death. Kana stumbled slightly as she was placed on her own two feet once more, chains and bells jingling as her fetish was pulled from unresisting fingers.

An unseen thread of power wove between her and the Fox, pulling tightly between them like a bowstring and thrumming as though it had been plucked. Kana bent at the waist, folding her hands together inside her sleeves as she bowed to her new owner. "I shall wait here, Mistress Fox. Take your time." Her voice, the first time she had spoken in a long while, was soft and held within it all gentleness and the promise of something more. It was warm within the confines of the partly crumbled cave, far too warm for most people to be able to stand for long, but Kana had a spark of something... other within her that had rebuilt her very being. She was no more uncomfortable on these heated rocks than most would be on an early spring day.

Soon she was sealed within the cave, the rock sliding over the opening... And so she waited to be unsealed once more.

The punch seemed to move in slow-motion compared to his opponents superior dexterity. Enishi's wrist was grabbed with a frightening strength enough to crunch the fragile bones in his wrist. As the Sharkman clamped down on his wrist in an attempt to divert his attack, is when the real attack took place. In a poof a smoke the wrist of the young bowman was replace with 4 arrows bundled together like sticks. The arrows cracked under the intense pressure of the Sharkman man but he wouldn’t have the time to see what had replaced Enishi’s wrist.

“Kai” Enishi whispered from his new vantage point just out of reach of the massive wave, he stood on a surprisingly flat lava rock that stood above the rest. He had managed to slip in his A-rank explosive arrow with the bundle along with another B-rank he had yet to use both and they had been charged and ready to go for quiet sometime before the attack. He would detonate the arrow almost as quickly as he had disappeared. This explosion significantly more powerful than the others would cover 15 meters in a sphere from its detonation point, effectively destroying the form of the massive wave.

The explosion would send water high into the sky, if Naitomi had taken the hit it would rain water mixed with a tint of blood for several posts. Amongst this action a new chakra signature had appeared and it was moving fucking fast. “O-SHIT” was all the bowman could exclaime. It had diverted and was coming straight for him with a brutish intent and a lot of chakra going crazy. The only thing the young bow man could do in time was try to block the blow coming for his stomach, He managed to get his hands in an X pointing downward just before the impact. Enishi would see the sharingan for but a moment before impact…. then devastation as his arms crumbled inwards offering little protection as the bones and ligaments snapped and tore. Pushing up into his abdomen he was lifted off of his feet, he slumped over on the fist now holding him in the air for a moment. Blood coughed out of his mouth, the pain so intense he began to lose consciousness his organs damaged but his arms had likely saved his life.

Enishi floated in the air impaled on the fist for a moment before rolling off and collapsing onto the lava-rock below. He looked up at the fox-faced shinobi the sharingan burned into his mind. He closed his eyes, he couldn’t continue.

Thing got hairy fast, replacement technique was used as the poof of smoke that is customary of the replacement technique is what alerted Naitome to the bundle of arrows which would crush under his right hands pressure. Considering he knew from previous attacks what Enishi was looking to do, his left hand quickly grabbed the hilt of Samehada, the five-foot blade was positioned over the top of Naitome's body as he crouched down to allow Samehada to absorb most of the explosion! BOOM! Burns started to formulate along the right hand and forearm as the forearm likely suffered a fractured bone though not something that Naitome can't handle, as the crouching of Naitome allowed him some time, his chakra sensing picked up on the arrival of another, this must be someone else and they are moving fast. He didn't have to weave seals for this, as water was spraying everywhere from the explosion, his flesh was exposed due to the burned away parts of his right arms cloak.

He dropped back into the water using hiding in the water again, this time no longer flooding chakra into the water he begins swimming faster and deeper into the sea obtaining twenty meters deep rather easily, with swimming being a strong suit of the bloodline this isn't that far out of the realm of possibility. The cold water again constricting his blood flow so if there was any blood leaking it stopped seconds after descending. He latched Samehada back onto his back which offered some back protection as he descended into the water, he also dropped his chakra signature not to long after that looking to swim away from the area and leave Kana and Enishi and whoever that other chakra signature was behind.

[Interrupt]

Hardened fist impacted against bone and it shattered, causing hands to go limp as the Fox's blow crashed through the Jounin's attempt at defense and smashed into his solar plexus. Blood spewed as internal injuries caused it to be expelled from Enishi's mouth, and he flew backward several feet. The Sharingan followed the movement and caught the fluttering of eyelids, the rolling back of irises that indicated to her trained mind unconsciousness. A twitch of muscles had the Fox standing amidst the sharp rocks at Enishi's feet, and a hard heel smashed against his ankle, shattering the bone there as well before turning her eyes to the aftermath of the explosion. A single body had flown away from it, and the Fox couldn't be certain that body was, in fact, dead. Coiling like a spring, rocks spreading away from her like a breaking wave ahead of a boat, the Fox once again split the air with her form, readying to strike at the airborn male with that dangerous knife-hand, rigid fingers pressed together as, to the eyes of the likely deafened Kiri-nin, a blur appeared over him. Red-coated right arm cocked back, she analyzed the combatant and realized that this was no combatant at all. He would die, soon, without help.

The Fox's job here was done. She could simply take Kana and the bell and leave all of this behind her, and allow the other two here to sort out their lives as best they could with what little life remained in them. Her intuition, however, was to find out as much as possible about who was sent on the mission and from where – the Fox was a spy as well as an assassin, and intelligence gathering was only one of her field skills. Instead of entering the chest of the strange man and piercing his heart, those blood-soaked fingers gripped the man's top, and held him as she leapt back to shore near to where she'd left the unconscious Enishi. Behind her mask, that beautifully cold face held an expression that told the gilled Jounin if he resisted, death followed – she wasn't even sure he'd be coherent for long, with the loss of blood he'd no doubt have from the blown-apart groin. She didn't need to say that it would hurt as she quickly analyzed the exposed area and formed handseals with a single hand. Her Raiton formed a small version of the Chidori Spear, her Sharingan guiding it to exactly the spaces that were bleeding the most and with a hissing, cauterizing the wound. It was incredibly painful, and honestly most people would likely simply pass out from the pain – not that the Fox would mind. She had only minor medical training, but she knew where the body bled and was weakest. The technique dismissed, the Fox leaned in over Naitome, full lips parted slightly in concentration as she laid her left hand across his brow.

Kirigakure... she thought to herself, although she was unable to really get much else aside from the apparently strong bond he had with his sword – both things were in the forefront of his mind past the pain. Could be problematic, came her next thought, and quickly she unrolled the scroll she'd previously sealed the bell inside and glanced at the sharkskin sword. A hand reached out and gripped its handle around Naitome's own hand, her right hand sticky with blood and leaving an imperfect print across his skin as she maneuvered the weapon over the scroll, then sealed it inside. The scroll rolled its way back to its end, and the Fox tucked it back into her lowest pocket. Her grave Sharingan glaring dispassionately at Naitome was the last of his warning before she turned some attention away, allowing her left hand to brush against Enishi this time.

Kemurigakure, the Fox deduced, frowning out of habit. Her supposed clan leader resided there, making himself Daimyo as well as Kage and tossing out the beliefs of the person that took them there in the first place. Not everyone could be idealistic, it seemed. Fear, shame, and a glimpse of a word bubbled up as she probed the other ninja's mind more deeply. Slave...? Quickly, she focused on this alone, and nearly gasped. What really went on in Kemurigakure no Sato? Flames appeared at her right thumb and fingertips, a bright blue with the kanji for Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth. These pressed against first Naitome, and then Enishi, sealing away their chakra for the trip home. There was only one task left.

With the pair unconscious for the next foreseeable future, the Fox used one last piece of information – the location of Enishi's boat. Her Hachimon still open, the ANBU leaped away and onto one of the large, menacing rocks near the shore, finding another, and then another to streak away to before finally, with a small amount of searching with the Sharingan's detail-oriented sight, she saw the thing floating and bobbing. She leapt out to it, taking its tie in hand and manually swimming the thing back in toward shore. Once there, she checked on her two likely still unconscious charges, then moved to her barrier, passing it with the correct technique and holding her hand out to Kana.

When the woman's situation regarding her steps became apparent, the Fox frowned and bent at the knee, inspecting the chains there for a moment before experimentally taking the links in hand and tugging. With an affirming nod, her muscles snapped taut, and the middle link wrenched apart, the metal snapping without a groan of protest. Once more, the Fox stood and wrapped an arm about the target, and leaped away at speed, dashing back to her boat to carefully load all three passengers.

The waves crashed as the Fox tugged at the boat once more, swimming it out past the current with a determination granted by will and an ability granted by inner strength. Finally, out away from the island, where the sea was calm save for a gentle rocking, the top of the fox mask peeked over the edge of the boat, and a girl that should be exhausted climbed her way into it, breath coming in long, deep inhalations that seemed too steady to be real. Course set, the Fox took her prey back to her master.
