Description: The user is able to hover and fly through the air as fast as their Reflexes allow, able to even turn on a dime.

Should this technique be increased in rank, the atmosphere before the user's path is affected as well. Consequently, due to the shifting of air pressure, the dynamics of this space is better suited to being flown through and the user gains a Major Advantage to their Reflexes.

Reduced the upkeep from B to C after hearing that some standard boosting techniques can have lowered upkeep without the need for some sort of drawback. Since this technique can only be used offensively (as it requires jumping towards your target), I believe this is justified.

The jumps themselves are taxing, but the user is capable of keeping on their toes and being prepared to jump even after a period of not continuously jumping. During posts where no jumping-strikes occur, the upkeep is reduced from a B rank to a C rank.

As per a discord discussion with Kye, I've reduced the upkeep of this style to be applied only when no jumps are actually occurring.

Seems fine to me.



The Flight thing, on the other hand, not so much. There are loads of techniques that do not receive any sort of useful bonus from a rank increase in power, and there's no real reason to make Flight an exception to that.

Lore/Flavor: The Flight technique is one that uses chakra to manipulate the way that physics interacts with the body and to effectively ignore gravity. By knowing of and manipulating the strange effects the Flight technique has on users,they are capable of moving through the space in a way not too dissimilar from moving through a medium like water. This technique makes use of those same properties but, instead of applying them to themselves, the user(s) apply them to others.

Through cooperation by way of others or clones, the users weave hand seals and create a hexagonal prism that extends high into the sky, well beyond the normal reaches of someone able to explore without special apparatus. The walls themselves are a faint and transparent green and, instead of obstructing passage, only serve to outline the area of effect of the technique.

Description: This technique requires 6 people or clones to organize themselves in a hexagon before weaving the necessary seals and kneading chakra (the cost is split evenly between each user). Because the barrier does not actually prevent passage, it is easier to maintain and only one person is required to stay in contact with it to keep it erect. The barrier then begins to take shape at their hands, producing a corner as the walls extend towards the other users. The walls form in this way at a speed equal to the lowest of the users' Coordination or Reflexes. The barrier doesn't actually do anything until each wall is connected, at which point the barrier will shoot high into the sky at almost impossible speeds.

Once a person's center of mass is inside the created field, gravity no longer effects a significant enough portion of them that they will begin to float freely. While effected, even the most minor of pushes will send them floating with equal force; simply walking will cause someone to soon rise beyond their ability to touch the ground. While those within the barrier are experiencing zero-gravity, they do not have the knowledge to actually propel themselves as if they were using the Flight technique. They can, however, maneuver using a variety of techniques (including pushing off of environmental obstacles or using techniques which would push them in the opposite direction).

This field only affects animals capable of using chakra (such as humans or summons).

Drawbacks: Requires everyone involved in the creation of the technique to know Flight. While the barrier is certainly disruptive, its walls are quite passable.

Lore/Flavor: Flight is a complicated technique, but it is particularly interesting in the way that it functions. Because it changes the way the user moves, the technique is profoundly capable of being committed to muscle memory. Similar to how a child struggles to crawl before struggling to walk before struggling to run, Flight users struggle before eventually mastering flying to the point of it being second nature.

Description: Like many of the Tsuchikage of old, this ability is unlocked after having spent a great deal of time flying. This takes the form of automatically learning this technique after gaining 1500 CP since first learning Flight.

This allows the user to fly with negligible chakra cost, though at greatly reduced effectiveness.

Drawbacks: The user's max speed is capped at half their base Reflexes. It cannot be used while in combat in any capacity. Using this and combat starts? The user must switch to the standard A rank version of Flight. Using this while combat is ongoing? Stupid user, it doesn't do anything. Using this after combat? Yeah, that's fine.

Lore/Flavor: Created by the Hokage, Kanari Osoi, after a particularly nasty experience, this form is as beautiful as it is deadly. Operating with quick and fluid movements, the terrible strength behind each strike is masked by the elegance of their movement. Despite this, it is that very strength that is the primary focal point of this technique. By moving the weapon to strike at targets, this style meets them with enhanced force to knock them back. As long as the weapon can be moved, the Hidden Cloth dances. While unintentional, this technique allows for the darkness within Kanari to be released in a sort of catharsis. Anyone using this technique without hatred in their hearts will feel uncomfortable by its use and can recognize a deep darkness in those that can use it without such discomfort.

By focusing intently on a target's chakra source, the user is able to make out more than their mere presence. Instead, the user can make out the positioning of their arms, legs and head. In effect, the user can see the targets without having to see the target. The mental image of the target is pale and obscure, however. Typical sight overrides the ability for this technique to provide meaningful information, so the user must keep their eyes closed.

Due to the nature of things not having chakra, things like weapons, armor and any other inanimate object are as invisible as ever with one's eyes closed. Even the terrain cannot be discerned, requiring the user to

Lore/Flavor: This technique was developed after a bout with Kazu Uchiha that resulted in one of Kanari's hands being injured. Being unable to use both hands left the staff user in a very awkward position and he resolved to not allow that to happen again. It was certainly crude, and simply didn't work. If it had, though...

This technique, while more simple, is almost identical in execution to Kanari's Beat the Garden technique. By infusing the weapon's grip with a directional rotation of chakra and creating an opposite rotation in their palm, the user creates a bonding effect between the two. As the chakra sources are pulled towards one another, air escapes between the fingers with visible chakra rising almost like smoke. Once the fingers and palm have rapidly created a perfect vacuum with the weapon, an almost negligible amount of chakra remains to lock them in place.

Description: By forcing the hand to connect with the weapon, the user can utilize the hand as effectively as they normally can be. As such, the technique was created to be used in a situation where it couldn't be used normally- chiefly, while injured. While the drawbacks are great to accomplish this, Kanari theorizes that Ijutsu users might be able to find a way around the harmful nature of this technique.

Drawbacks: By forcing an injured hand to move or grip causes a lot of pain, requiring the user to have at least Proficient Constitution to perform. Depending on the skill of the user, their ability to not damage their hand can be lessened- but it is never taken away.

For every advantage of Constitution starting at Proficient and for every raise in Bukijutsu, the user may spend a post using this technique. Once those posts have been exhausted, the user's durability is reduced by 1 for every post this is active. Once both have been exhausted, the user cannot bear the pain and must relinquish this technique.

While the thin layer of chakra allows for the user to slide their hand along the staff, the grip is absolute. Only by relinquishing this technique is the user able to remove their hand from the weapon.

The technique deals in precision strikes and simple but effective twists of the wrist to bring the opposite end of a staff very quickly upon one's foe. By focusing more on glancing blows and positional strikes instead of sheer force, the user sacrifices much of their power in pursuit of trickery and harassment.

Drawbacks: This technique and the mindset it creates within the user makes it such that this technique can only be used with one hand, cutting the strength of the 2 blows by half. While swinging the weapon, the user's hand is completely out of mind, preventing it from doing things as simple as gesturing, let alone attack.

Though the user can use their other hand for things beyond maintaining balancing, but the user loses all benefits while doing so. The reduced Strength remains, however.

Lore/Flavor: This is the signature ability of the Zero Tails. By funneling Zero Tails chakra through various points on the host's body, a multitude of fully functional tan colored arms take shape wherever the user has active tenketsu.

Description: On being cast, the user creates 4 arms at any chakra-capable part of their body. Additional arms can be created at a cost of 2sp per individual arm. Each arm has the same stats as the user's and are mechanically indistinguishable from the user's real arms except that their length is prehensile and may extend to great lengths. For every two arms, non-elemental Ninjutsu specialists can create an additional arm without paying its activation or upkeep cost.

Drawbacks: Stat boosters from Skills do not apply to arms unless it is also using that style; ie, if one is choking someone out, it won't receive boosts from the user's Bukijutsu, but another would if it was also using a weapon. Techniques meant for typical two armed people do not boost each arm unless a technique is made to specifically make use of the extra limbs. Each post of maintaining the limbs also uses a post of chakra access.



I'll create different and/or sub techniques for the larger arm variation and chakra absorption later on.
